The film traces the recovery stages of IDF soldier Yoel Sharon who was injured during the Yom Kippur War. Sharon was severely wounded in the battle for the city of Suez and as a result was paralyzed from the waist down. He was a photography student who returned home from London in order to help fight the war. In this film we follow his convalescence, his optimism and sheer will. He was studying photography and took a break from his studies, but could not return because of the circumstances. Instead, with great will power he was able to become a filmmaker. We meet Yoel 14 years later as he is working on a feature film about a soldier who is wounded on the first day of battle…
