This film was made a few months after the Six Day War ended, and, as the War of Attrition was underway, the film exposes a different reality than that which was reflected in the euphoria of the period. Using both real-time shots together with archival material and newsreels, the film tells the story of the period –with the war in the Jordan Valley on one side while discos and beauty pageants are on the other.
